"My Dearest and Esteemed Pastor I count it a profound privilege and a blessing to have encountered you in the final year of my journey at Ambrose Alli University. What I thought was merely an opportunity to meet a great man became, in retrospect, a divine encounter—one that left an indelible mark on my life. You spoke words of greatness into my life, words that were not merely encouraging at the time but prophetic declarations that I have continued to see unfold before my very eyes. One statement that has remained deeply engraved in my heart is when you told me that I am a global player. Today, I look at my journey and I can boldly testify that those words have become part of my experience. Your words gave me a picture of what God was making me, even at a time when I could not fully see it myself. You were a vessel through whom I encountered God's Word in its purity. You did not merely preach the Word; you lived it, carried it, and made it tangible to those privileged to come around you. Being in your presence was refreshing. There was a grace, a depth, and a fatherly love that made one feel both challenged to grow and strengthened to become all that God had ordained. You were more than a pastor to me—you were a father. And though my heart is heavy because you are no longer with us physically, I find comfort in the truth of Scripture: “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”Your departure may have taken you from our physical sight, but it cannot erase the impact of your life, your ministry, your words, and the legacy you have left in the hearts of those you touched. You still live on—in the lives you transformed, in the destinies you helped awaken, in the words you spoke, and in the countless people who encountered Christ through you. You will forever remain my beloved father, my pastor, and one of the precious vessels God used to speak greatness into my life. I carry your words with me, and I carry them with deep reverence. I love you so much, Sir And today, I make this promise—not merely to you, but to the God whom you served with all your heart: every single word you spoke over my life will find its full expression. I will become all that God has ordained me to become. I will go where those words said I would go. I will become the global player you saw long before I fully understood what it meant. Your voice may be silent to my ears, but the words you deposited in my spirit will continue to speak through my life. Rest in the Lord, my beloved father and pastor. I love you dearly, Pastor."

"I have known Pastor Theo for the longest time and he has always been the most humble soul. Always greets with a smile. Its really well. We thank God for a life well lived in the Lord. Looking at you as you looked at and across the field, Internally, spiritually, mentally putting words and images together...and seeing a FOREST, Seeing you call forth people and monies... I saw a different KIND...a different TYPE of Faith. You got me to see the Word of God obsessively as my best friend, and to see the man of God as God's personal gift to me, and to the world. "A TRIBUTE TO THE HIGHLY ESTEEMED PASTOR THEOPHILUS OWASE It is with a heart filled with gratitude, deep sorrow, and cherished memories that I pay tribute to my Highly Esteemed Pastor, Sir Theophilus Owase. Your departure has left a vacuum that words can hardly describe. Yet, even in the midst of our sorrow, we are comforted by the assurance of God's Word: “Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.” — Psalm 116:15 Sir, your life was a testimony of faith, service, humility, and unwavering commitment to the work of the Lord. You were not merely a Pastor; you were a shepherd, a teacher, a mentor, and a blessing to countless lives. The Scriptures declare: «“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” — 2 Timothy 4:7» These words beautifully reflect the life you lived. You gave yourself wholeheartedly to the Gospel and to the people God entrusted to your care. Your labour of love, your sacrifices, your counsel, and your example will continue to speak long after your physical departure. The Bible says, “The memory of the just is blessed.” — Proverbs 10:7 Indeed, your memory is blessed. We will remember your kindness, your wisdom, your passion for God's work, and the countless lives you touched. The seeds you planted will continue to produce fruits in generations to come. Though we mourn your departure, we do not mourn as those without hope. We are comforted by the words of our Lord: «“I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.” — John 11:25» Thank you, Sir, for giving your life to the service of the Lord. Thank you for your leadership, your sacrifices, your example, and the privilege of knowing and serving alongside you. Your earthly journey has ended, but your legacy lives on. Your works continue to speak, and the lives you influenced will carry forward the impact of your ministry. Rest in the Lord, Highly Esteemed Pastor Sir. Your race was run, your course was finished, and your faith was kept. "MY HIGHLY ESTEEMED AND MOST EXCELLENT PASTOR THEOPHILUS OWASE Some people come into your life and leave memories; others come into your life and leave a part of themselves in you. You were that person in my life, Sir. Looking back, I can only say, thank You, Lord, for the gift of Pastor Theophilus Owase to my life. You were my Pastor, Father, Teacher, Life Coach, Mentor, and a voice of wisdom whose words continue to speak in my heart. I remember those times I travelled with you. What may have looked like ordinary journeys became some of my most valuable classrooms. Along those journeys, you taught me about ministry, leadership, people, character, responsibility, and life. I listened, I learnt, and many of those lessons have stayed with me till today. You were particular about details. You taught me the Word, but you also taught me how to conduct myself, how to carry myself, how to relate with people, and even the importance of personal hygiene. Nothing was too small for you to correct or teach because you genuinely wanted to see me become better. And then, there were those words you often said to me: “Pastor John, I believe in you.” “You have grace, and your grace is working.” Those words may have sounded simple, but they carried so much weight. There were moments when those words strengthened me, encouraged me, and reminded me that a Father I deeply respected believed in me and in what God was doing in my life. Sir, your investment in me cannot be fully captured in a tribute. Some things were taught from the pulpit; others were taught through your lifestyle, your corrections, your conversations, your kindness, and your example. Thank you for every lesson. Thank you for every correction. Thank you for every word of encouragement. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for allowing God to use you to shape a part of my life and ministry. There may be tears, and there may be pain, but gratitude speaks louder. Gratitude for the privilege of knowing you. Gratitude for the privilege of learning from you. Gratitude for the privilege of calling you my Pastor and Father. Sir, your journey continues through the impact you have made in my life. Your voice will continue to speak through the lessons you planted in me, and your influence will continue to live on through the life those lessons have shaped.
