Life & Ministry

A Legacy of Service, Impact, Faith, and Love

Pastor Theophilus Owase was more than a minister; he was a spiritual architect, a compassionate mentor, and a beacon of unwavering faith. Born on March 24, 1982, into the loving home of Late Elder Peter and Late Deaconess Christiana Owase, he was the sixth child in a family of seven—an upbringing that cultivated his deep humility, resilience, and profound sense of responsibility.

His academic journey laid the groundwork for a life of discipline and excellence. A product of St. Charles Secondary School (1998–2002), he went on to pursue a degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering at Ambrose Alli University (AAU), graduating in 2007. Though he honed his professional skills during a practical training year at TOTAL Energy in 2006, his true calling was already taking shape in the spiritual realm.

Pastor Theophilus’s decades of active ministry were defined by a rare combination of profound biblical exposition and boundless empathy. As a global ambassador for the Gospel, he organized impactful programs across East Africa, West Africa, and Asia drawing thousands into the Kingdom. Under his visionary tenure, the BLW Zone A Zonal facility at AAU saw monumental physical and spiritual progress—including structural completion, land expansion, fencing, and critical infrastructure development.

Beyond the pulpit, his passion for community development and youth mentorship was undeniable. Believing that faith was best expressed through compassionate action, he established outreach initiatives that fed families, supported students, and built enduring bonds of unity across diverse communities.

While his transition in July 2026 leaves a deep void in the hearts of his family, congregation, and the countless lives he touched, his spirit lives on. We celebrate a journey faithfully run, a race well fought, and a Kingdom impact that will echo across generations.

"Pastor Sir, words are not enough to say thank you for your deep faith and love for me which was extended to my family. Thank you for believing strongly in me, the various opportunities you gave me to grow, the online trainings you held for us inviting several senior pastors to train us down to the various midnight prayers that birthed tremendous miracles. Our welfare was your concern, you ensured we were always comfortable, you celebrated our every win with so much joy. I remember how you called me in the middle of night after my ordination to congratulate me and also prayed for me. Whenever it gets too tough and I'm at the verge of throwing in the towel, your voice will echo loudly in my head "Gift, I believe in you. You can do it". Phew! I love you so dearly Pastor Sir and I thank God for bringing me to you. There is so much I want to say but till we meet again at the rapture, I will keep winning Sir!!."

"To our father, Highly Esteemed Pastor Theophilus Owase Thank you, Papa As our regional secretary, you have been a faithful steward. You carried the burden of the region with the word and with prayer. You have always encouraged us to be strong in the Lord. Your life reflects Titus 1:7 , for an overseer as God's steward must be faithful. Diligent in words, wise in counsel and gentle in handling and teaching people A leader that led an example for us to follow Thank you for all you did in the house of the Lord. You will forever be in our hearts We honour you sir and we live you"

"A Beautiful Memory The first awesome compliment I ever received in Zone A came from Pastor Sir. It was on the first day of CLC. As we were trying to get in, Pastor Sir looked at me and said, “Hello, you have a very beautiful smile.” Those few words stayed with me, even before I knew Pastor Sir was my Zonal Pastor. I still remember that moment so clearly. Even on Pastor Sir’s last birthday, I found myself remembering those words again. Now, whenever I think of Pastor Sir, I can still hear that gentle voice saying, “You have a very beautiful smile.” Thank you, Pastor Sir, for a simple compliment that became a beautiful memory. Rest peacefully, Pastor Sir. Your words, your kindness, and your memories will remain with us. 🕊️"

"Tribute to Pastor Theophilus Pastor T, as we fondly call him, lived a life of service and impact. His life reminds us to be intentional about how we live, because tomorrow is not promised. One day, we shall be no more, and what will people say about us? Will they remember our kindness, our service and the lives we touched? Pastor T’s life has left a mark, and for that, we are grateful. May his life inspire us to be the best versions of ourselves. Rest well, Pastor T. You will be remembered."
